Week #11 Health update (4/24)

I’ve just passed the 11 week mark following my original diagnosis of 3 to 6 months. Although I’m slipping in more areas such as energy, ability to focus or concentrate for more than a few minutes at a time, my balance and of course trying to maintain a reasonable weight. I’m going to continue to post my daily Positive Tweet (@StanBillue) my weekly Monday Marketing Tip and monthly Newsletter as long as possible. I can still have short visits on the phone and of course answer emails however I don’t believe I’ll take any more personal visits after next week since I don’t want anyone’s last memory of me as someone who has shrunk away to skin and bones. The Cancer in my Bones is starting to become a pain (pun intended) since it seems like everyday a new area is sore to touch. Margie and I got out a couple of times during the week to run some errands and I really enjoy the Sunshine and fresh Air. My ‘Brother’ Jimmy made the haul from Clearwater for another welcomed visit. Frank Candy from Orlando stopped by and we enjoyed swapping “‘war stories”. If the weather holds up and I feel good enough, we are going to try to attend the Short track Racing at Volusia (1/2 mile Dirt Track) this Saturday. After 3 weeks of rain outs, we all have “cabin fever”. Yes, I still have the greatest and most grateful and positive attitude and the most wonderful Lady in the World by my side throughout this ordeal.

Week #10 Health Update (4/17)

Week #10 Update (4/17)
The good news is that I’ve just made it 10 weeks since my original diagnosis. The bad news is that because I still can’t eat soft food (liquids only), I’ve now lost 42 pounds in10 weeks. Many people have asked what they can do to help so here’s a few suggestions. [1] If you believe in Prayers, we would appreciate all you can spare. [2] You can “share” or “retweet” my Daily Positive Quotes from Facebook ( or Twitter (@StanBillue). [3] You can donate to Margie’s Fund raising campaign at [4]You can take advantage of our new “Top Producer Profit Pack” at . The Pastor for Hospice stopped by which is always welcome. Brad Shackleford (my Videographer for over a dozen Video projects over the last 30 years) and Alex Nicholas (a fellow Trainer who I’ve known for over 20 years) came by for a wonderful visit. Jimmy Statham (my ‘Brother’ for 30 years and my single greatest Student ever) from Clearwater made another trip over which is always a highlight of any week. Unfortunately the Cancer in my Bones is starting to flare up and almost every Bone in my body now has aches or pains. My equilibrium has started to fade and I actually lost my balance once this week and had a bad fall. Thankfully nothing was broke. On the bright side I actually had my first bowl movement in over 3 months which relieved a bunch of pressure. In spite of everything I still maintain my Positive and upbeat Attitude, keep a smile on my face each day and Margie and I are treasuring every minute we have together. On Thursday all 4 of us went for Breakfast at the old Sugar Mill in Deleon Springs where you cook your own Pancakes at your Table. They lay claim to the Fountain of Youth so I dangled my toes in the water to get healed. Hey, it’s worth a try . . . right?

Stan Billue uses Love, Humor and Compassion

To my dear friend, mentor and trainer Stan Billue .
Stan, you impacted my life in ways I can’t measure, took me from a construction worker to a businessman through your training starting in the late 80’s. It’s still my “go to” training for my team and myself. I am now developing / selling the BEST Ocean View Real Estate in Costa Rica, and all of our business starts with phone calls to clients in USA/Canada and Europe.
I know hundreds of others, many in my own companies that I paid years ago to take your training that you took from zero to hero in sales, from $30,000 a year to $200,000 a year plus. and Brokers that did the same using your training here in Costa Rica just the last 5 years. And you always did it with love and humor and compassion.
I am recommending people subscribe to your monthly Newsletter and weekly Marketing Tip at, check out or follow Stan on Facebook, LinkedIn or Twitter (@StanBillue).
